Editha Mesina is a photographer and educator based in New York City. Born in the Philippines, Mesina explores themes of identity, memory and resistance through her focus on women’s narratives. Her work has been exhibited in New York City as well as nationally and internationally. She has curated exhibitions for Photoville, NYC and GAMU, Prague among others. Mesina is an Assistant Arts Professor at the Department of Photography and Imaging, Tisch School of the Arts, New York University, and is a New York Foundation for the Arts Fellow in Photography.
